Walk to Duomo (Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore), one of the city's defining landmarks. Take your time, this is the kind of place you can't rush.
13:00 · Lunch at Osteria Vecchio Cancello

Tips before you go.
- Uffizi and Accademia tickets sell out weeks in advance in peak season. Book through the official site (uffizi.it).
- Many central sights are within a 15-minute walk. The Oltrarno (south of the river) is quieter and worth a full day.
- Florentine steak (bistecca alla fiorentina) is sold by weight, minimum 800g, meant for two people.
