A day in Prague.
Prague's historic core is one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cities, and one of its most touristy. Get up early to see the Charles Bridge before the crowds; the Castle complex needs half a day; and the food is much better than its reputation suggests.
Hour by hour.

Tips before you go.
- The Charles Bridge is chaos by 10am in summer. Cross at sunrise for the photo you actually want.
- Czech beer is famously cheap and famously good. Pilsner Urquell is the local default.
- Avoid restaurants directly on the Old Town Square, overpriced and mediocre. Walk two minutes in any direction.
